Why not commission a piece of art? 
Recently I have been making needle-felted pet portraits.  These range in size from a 1.5 inch brooch, to a framed 6 inch portrait.

Another option is a collage: I can create a framed 5 x 7 inch original work of art which will be a permanent and compelling reminder of people or special events.  At only $50.00 plus shipping what could be better? The collage can incorporate ephemera+ and imagery related to the recipient. You may also wish to include a photograph to make the artwork even more personal.

• Email your request describing your requirements, and any images for consideration.
  If you are providing original ephemera, objects, or hard copies of photographs please send these without delay.

• Within two weeks* an electronic copy of the collage will be sent to you for your consideration, and if you wish changes can be made. (maximum two revisions)

• Local delivery can be accommodated.

  Gift wrapping and posting can be arranged for an additional cost.

• $50 payment at time of order.
